Intown Healthy Hound is a thriving local pet store on the corner of Cherokee & Atlanta Avenues in Grant Park. Owners Bridget and Jimmy Galloway began with a pet food home delivery service in 2004 and opened their retail store in 2008. As makers of premium pet food, Jimmy and Bridget share a common interest with the local artisans that this festival showcases. And Intown Healthy Hound has quite a following in Ormewood Park—so supporting the community where so many of their friends and customers live simply feels right.
Like so many folks in this neighborhood, Jimmy Galloway can’t be pegged down to only one craft. True, he’s a purveyor of gourmet pet food, but he’s also a talented guitarist. And he’s participating as a musician at the Ormewood Park Meet the Makers Festival at the behest of Atlanta composer, orchestrator, and arranger Jason Shannon. Galloway met Shannon, an owner of the fabled Southern Tracks recording studio, when Galloway recorded an album there. (A lesser known fact: Shannon plays sitar on that album.)
The Galloways are looking forward to the Ormewood Park Meet the Makers Festival—and they’re hoping it becomes an annual event. They love the Ormewood Park community and value their trust in Intown Healthy Hound’s products, knowledge and service.
